Events: The genesis of Project Life Stories…an organization devoted to giving voice to the stories of the soul through solo shows, monologue performance and memoirs.


Background: Tanya Taylor Rubinstein studies theater professionally at Carnegie Mellon, Emerson College and HB Studios. She performs in many plays over many years. She attends a Spalding Gray performance (one man show) and is inspired to devote her theatrical background to the art of the solo show,

“Leftovers” a one woman show by Penny Sinone, developed with and directed by Tanya Taylor Rubinstein, Railyard Theater, Santa Fe

“ Even if the Mountains Burn” a one man show by James Koskinas developed with and directed by Tanya Taylor Rubinstein, performed at various theaters in New Mexico

“Maternal Dreamer” a one woman show by Ramona King re-developed with and directed by Tanya Taylor Rubinstein performed at Wise Fool and various theaters and conferences in New Mexico

“Other Arrangements” a one woman show by Maida Rogerson developed with and directed by Tanya Taylor Rubinstein, performed in Santa Fe and Prince Edward Island, Canada

“ Burst” a one woman show by Shannon de Jong developed with and directed by Tanya Taylor Rubinstein, premiered in Santa Fe at the Railyard Theater

Tanya continues to work with actors, writers and other creative people from all over the world to write and perform their shows, write their memoirs and claim their lives through giving voice to their experiences.
